Our new basic slip dress is perfection in its simplicity. Made from our light hand spun hand woven aran cotton which is so breathable on a hot summer day, it is cut on the bias for a feminine flattering line. With its adjustable straps, it has an easy fit and will allow you to adjust the neckline depending on whether you wish to wear bare or layered with one of your favourite tops or a sleeved look. Pick it in this soft stone shade achieved by the hand dyeing work of our expert team at The Stitching Project with Gallnut (a type of oak tree).
This is one dress you will take from day to night with a change of accessories, from summer to winter with a polo neck and you might even take it to bed.
Aran Cotton
Aran is a very fine handspun handwoven cotton slightly thicker than a voile to avoid transparency.
All our plant dyes are G.O.T.S. certified and hand-dyed on the grounds of The Stitching Project gardens. All wastewater is reused for gardening purposes to reduce wastage and damaging effect on our environment.
Each Anjelms piece is signed by the craftsperson of The Stitching Project who was involved in its making.
